Overview
What it is
Spherical roller bearings (SRB), also called self-aligning roller bearings, combine an outer ring, an inner ring, a locking feature and barrel-shaped rollers. Most have a spherical outer raceway, so they are internally self-aligning and permit angular movement of the shaft in two directions. The barrel rollers conform closely to the inner and outer raceways, and the housing gives a high radial load-carrying capacity. The range includes open, sealed, and KIZEI metallic-shield versions, plus the NTN ULTAGE series.
