What Thermographic Inspection Detects?
Mechanical Equipment
Find bearings, couplings, and motors running hot—signs of friction, poor lubrication, misalignment, or early mechanical wear. You’ll see the heat pattern way before you hear a noise or feel a vibration.
Electrical Equipment
Spot hot connections, panels, switchgear, or circuit breakers. Common culprits are loose or corroded connections, overloaded circuits, or imbalanced load. All of these crank up resistance (and heat) long before a fault shows itself.
Thermographic inspection zeroes in on heat-related and electrical issues that those other tests won’t catch, while vibration analysis helps surface mechanical problems that haven’t started heating up yet.
