Thermographic Inspection

Infrared survey of bearings, couplings, motors and connections under load.Heat is usually the first clue that something’s wrong—and with infrared inspection, you can spot it early, without ever touching equipment or taking it offline. A loose electrical connection. A bearing that’s running dry. An overloaded circuit. These problems start heating up well before there’s any smell, noise, or outright shutdown. With Thermographic Inspection, infrared cameras pick up abnormal heat in mechanical and electrical equipment long before you’d spot a failure. Since it’s non-contact, you can usually get these checks done while everything’s running—no need for downtime or complicated shutdowns. MCB brings this technology to maintenance and reliability teams across the UAE, Middle East, and Africa.

Thermographic Inspection

Who should use this service?

  • Maintenance & Reliability Engineers:

Add a non-invasive predictive tool to your program—inspect equipment without ever turning it off.

  • Electrical & Facilities Managers:

Stay ahead of trouble. Check panels, connections, and switchgear, and catch issues before they spiral into an outage or, worse, a safety event.

  • Plant Managers Handling Preventive Maintenance:

Get an early warning system. One pass picks up both mechanical and electrical issues, so nothing slips by.

What Thermographic Inspection Detects?

  • Mechanical Equipment

Find bearings, couplings, and motors running hot—signs of friction, poor lubrication, misalignment, or early mechanical wear. You’ll see the heat pattern way before you hear a noise or feel a vibration.

  • Electrical Equipment

Spot hot connections, panels, switchgear, or circuit breakers. Common culprits are loose or corroded connections, overloaded circuits, or imbalanced load. All of these crank up resistance (and heat) long before a fault shows itself.

Thermographic inspection zeroes in on heat-related and electrical issues that those other tests won’t catch, while vibration analysis helps surface mechanical problems that haven’t started heating up yet.

Mineral Circles Bearings is based in Jebel Ali Free Zone, Dubai, with offices and partners across Morocco, Iraq, China, and Sweden. We deliver Thermographic Inspection to maintenance teams, contractors, and facility operators throughout the UAE, GCC, the wider Middle East, and Africa.

Why Mineral Circles Bearings

Supplier and service provider, under one accountability.

Most service providers do not hold the parts, and most parts suppliers do not hold the instruments. Since 1984 we have done both, which is why a finding and its remedy arrive together.

  • Engineers, not only stockists

Alignment, vibration, thermography and failure analysis are delivered by our own engineers, the same people who advise on the product selection.

  • Since 1984, in the region

Four decades supplying industry across the UAE and GCC, with a Dubai warehouse and field coverage that does not depend on a visiting specialist.

  • Multi-brand independence

We distribute a wide range of leading bearing, sealing and transmission brands, so the recommendation follows the application rather than a single catalogue.

  • Findings tied to parts

When a survey identifies the fix, the component is usually already on our shelf, no second sourcing exercise between diagnosis and repair.

FAQ

Common questions.

Anything not covered here, ask our engineering desk directly.

It catches abnormal heat patterns in both mechanical gear (bearings, couplings, motors) and electrical gear (connections, panels, switchgear) for early failure detection anywhere it matters.

Describe the problem. We will tell you what to measure first

Our engineering desk responds within one working day for service enquiries across the UAE and GCC.
